Apply shadow after liner for a softer, dreamier effect
Use an eyelash curler to give lift to lashes. Apply a coat of mascara to set it that way
A thick coat of mascara will add that extra effect to your eyelashes giving the eyes a hooded sexy look.
Never line the inside rim of your lower lashes; this will make eyes look even smaller
The Day Look: Smooth a medium eye shadow in your eye lid from lash line up to eye crease. Blend deeper shade into crease and slightly above it.

The Evening Look: Line eyes close to lash line with a blend pencil in a dark, dramatic shade. Sweep a light eye-shadow from base of lashes to brow bone. Apply a deeper shade in eye creases and blend.


Applying the eye-shadow has a lot to do with you eye type. Choose your make-up tip below depending on the type of eyes you have:


For Deep-Set Eyes: Rely on pale, shimmery shades to enhance your eyes. Sweep a light eye shadow shade across lid from inner corner to a small bit beyond the outer corner. Place a touch of a deeper shade in the eye crease. Blend.


For Wide-Set Eyes:   Make them appear closer by applying a deeper eye shadow shade from inner corner to mid-lid. Apply a lighter shade from mid-lid to outer corner. Blend in the middle of lid where shades meet.


For Close-Set Eyes:   Make them appear wider by applying a dot of concealer to the innermost corner of both eyes. Create a very thin pencil line near lash edge of top lid that thickens toward the outer corner. Create a very thin eye shadow in a pale shade from inner corner to mid-lid; apply a just-slightly deeper shade from mid-lid to outer corner; blend in the middle.

You can mix a tablespoon of honey with one egg white (not the yolk) and apply thickly to your forehead, neck and other problem areas. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes. Then wash with a mild cleanser.

Honey and egg white are sometimes difficult to mix. You can also use two tablespoons or more of papaya pulp, with at least 10 drops of lemon juice. Apply as you would any other mask. Any fruit juice contains vitamin C, which is naturally acidic. When used in a facial, they refresh, stimulate circulation, close pores and act as an antioxidant destroying free radicals produced after exposure to the sun. Cooked and mashed carrots and honey can also be used.

Honey is one of the best masks, but active manuka honey is the most effective. It can be difficult to find, but is available in one of the better all-natural skincare lines.

Before the honey is applies, you should put a very warm damp towel over your face to open your pores. Following a 20 minute soak in honey, rinse off with warm water. The cleansers contain glycerin, (transparent soap have high glycerin content) cetyl alcohol, sodium or sulfate. They leave a fine moisturizing film on the skin. Moisturizers counteract dryness of the skin by providing a protective agent such as glycerin, lanolin or vegetable fats which are only a small percentage of the soap or lotion. They contain mineral oil, petroleum, water and some waxes. They are applied to the skin and washed off for removal of make-up and sebum from the skin. Cold creams are gentler and used for dry skin.
